We are state certified in Real Estate Appraisal and hold national designations in Real Estate Appraisal, Machinery & Equipment and Business Valuation. Our Real Estate Appraisers hold State Certifications at the General Level which is the highest level in the state and held by the top 16% of real estate appraisers in California.

In 1986, Congressman Doug Barnard (D-Georgia) authored legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives which required the state-by-state certification and licensing of real property appraisers. Specifically, the bill is Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act (FIRREA). It is more commonly known as the "S&L Bailout Bill". The legislation creates a nationwide certification and licensing program for real property appraisers involved in "federally related financial transactions". Licensing and certification are state functions overseen by the appraisal sub-committee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC).

It is this act of congress that gives TEDESCO’s appraisers their expert authority.

Our business valuation expert holds credentials issued by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. These national designations demonstrate our commitment to excellence and professional standards.
